The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday welcomed the Union Budget, stating it had something for every section of the society.
State BJP President Arun Sao said everyone has benefitted from the tax reforms. The budget is a symbol of a strong economy, he said.
Union Minister of State of Tribal Affairs Renuka Singh termed the budget as "sensitive and visionary".
Former Chief Minister Raman Singh said the budget focusses on the overall development of the country as well as for Chhattisgarh.
The capital investment for infrastructure at 33.4 percent would push the country to new heights, he said.
Leader of Opposition Narayan Chandel said it was a visionary budget.
