Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday urged officials to approach public issues with the utmost seriousness and sensitivity.
He also stressed the importance of taking strict legal action against those who unlawfully encroach on people’s land and pose threats to the vulnerable.
This directive came during the Janata Darshan, held at Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur.
During the session, the chief minister personally heard the grievances of around 200 individuals and promptly referred their applications to the relevant authorities for immediate resolution.
The focus of the event was on ensuring government welfare schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries.
Addressing the crucial matter of financial aid for the treatment of severe illnesses, the chief minister instructed officials to expedite the estimation process of treatment costs.
“There is no dearth of money for the treatment of the needy,” he said.
Yogi also extended his blessings to the children, who were accompanying their parents, and offered them chocolates.
