On 24-25 May, a prize distribution ceremony was organized in the 5-S System of Workplace Management Competition organized by QCFI, Bokaro Chapter in HRD Hall of CO & CC Department of BSL. Chief General Manager (MRD)  R. Dhawan, Chief General Manager (CO&CC)  Rakesh Kumar, General Manager (SRU) cum Secretary QCFI, Bokaro Chapter MK Dubey, General Manager (Town Services)  Rajul Harkarni were present on the occasion including all the winners . At the beginning of the programme, MK Dubey welcomed everyone and threw light on various aspects of 5-S System of Workplace Management. Underlining the importance of 5-S System of Workplace Management, R. Dhawan gave a message to implement 5-S in the plant as well as at home. In his address, Rakesh Kumar said that implementing the 5-S System of Workplace Management at the workplace develops a safe working style.

In this competition organized in three sessions, a total of 28 groups presented the 5-S System of Workplace Management implemented at their workplaces in front of the jury members through presentation. Sanjay Sinha, AGM (BPSCL), RK Behera, AGM (Sinter Plant), NC Pathak, Senior Manager (CRM), RP Gupta, Senior Manager (Safety), Sanjay Sinha, AGM (Sinter Plant) were present as members of the jury during the presentation. Assistant Manager (Safety) S. Suman, Vigilance Inspector (SRU)  Aman Kumar were also present. Notably In the second session of the programme, the chief guest and special guest honored the winners of the competition by giving gold and silver awards. The programme was coordinated by the Assistant Manager (CO & CC)  Lakhwinder Singh and the vote of thanks was given by the General Manager (Town Services) Rajul Harkarni.
