Women voters in Chhattisgarh outnumbered males in Assembly elections which concluded on Friday.
According to Election Commission data, women exercised their franchise more than male voters in 51 of the total 90 seats in the state.
There were 2,39,3,160 eligible voters in the state including 1,1,35,543 men and 1,2,56,865 women.
A total of 1,55,61,460 people exercised their franchise in the state including 77,48,612 men and 78,12,631 women.
Political analysts say the party which got most female votes will form the government.
