Dr. KS Rana who had been Vice Chancellor of various universities and Institutions as well as advisor to various ministries of the Government of India has been appointed as Trade Commissioner of the Sultanate of Oman. Addressing the India -Oman Trade Conference on Thursday attended by Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman HE Issa Saleh Abdullah Alshibani, diplomats, delegates from UNO countries, Rana said today is a historical day in the relations between India and Oman as the Sultanate of Oman recently visited to India. Rana welcomed the initiatives of GoI and further added that on behalf of all India GCC Council- Oman as Trade Commissioner ,he will help build and strengthen trade spanning thousands of years.
