The air of the national Capital has turned extremely hazardous for the public as data by the AQICN revealed that the Anand Vihar recorded an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 999 at 8 pm on Wednesday. Across the city, alarming AQI levels were reported, Sector 8, Dwarka recorded an index of 876, Mundka was 465, R.K. Puram was 334, Rohini was 322 and Narela was at 305. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the National Capital recorded an average AQI of 230.
