5 name panel for candidature in Budhni by-poll

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday finalised a panel of five candidates for Budhni constituency and sent to the high command in New Delhi. Only one name of Forest Minister amnivas Rawat was sent for Vijaypur assembly by-election.

the names that are in the panel for Budhni by-pll include Guruprasad Sharma, Kartikeya Singh Chouhan, Ramakant Bhargav, Rajendra Singh Rajput and Asaram Yadav.

These decisions were taken in the meetng of Madhya Pradesh BJP election committee.

After the meeting, BJP state president Vishnudatt Sharma was addressing the media on the sidelines of a meeting of the party election forum. Sharma said that the meeting had sifted through suggestions on candidate nominations, and the findings will be dispatched to the party central leadership in New Delhi.

Underlining the efforts of the state government, Sharma said that the state is making strides in its journey to emerge as a fully developed state.Sharma mentioned that the state election committee of the party had met to discuss the upcoming by-elections in Vijaypur and Budhni. The committee members provided a range of suggestions, which will be compiled into a report and sent to the party's central leadership.

Speaking of the ongoing membership campaign, which concludes on October 15, Sharma said the party was making rapid progress toward achieving the target, with just two days remaining."During these two days, the BJP Madhya Pradesh will create a new history in the membership campaign through the hard work of its workers," he assured.

Sharma said the conclusion of the membership drive will trigger phase two of the initiative as the party will commence efforts to turn new inductees into active members of the BJP."All party workers and the entire organizational apparatus will be engaged at each booth to establish active memberships," he said.

Underlining the upcoming organizational elections for the party state executive, the Khajuraho MP said that the BJP maintains a continuous system of contact and dialogue with its workers, and discussions occur regularly.

Important discussions have also taken place today with some party legislators, he said before accusing the Congress of politicking. Sharma said that the Congress state unit chief, Jitu Patwari, was engaging in deceit and falsehoods for political gain.He stated that the people of the state have already rejected the Congress and its leaders, and now they have also been dismissed in Haryana.
