99th Urology camp concludes: 161 operations performed

The 99th Free Urology, ENT and general surgery camp organized in collaboration with Jeev Sewa Sansthan at Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital concluded today.

Out of 937 out patients who came to the camp, operations of 161 ailing patients of various types of urinary disorder, ENT and other diseases were performed in the camp. These include 19 surgeries of Gal bladder, 84 surgeries of hernia, 7 surgeries of hydrocele, nine surgeries of kidney stones, 20 surgeries of prostate enlargement, 10 surgeries of repairing of narrow urethraw and 12 other surgeries.

On the occasion, Sant Siddh Bhauji expressed his gratitude towards the doctors, medical staff and volunteers. He said that you will definitely get the reward for these services not only in this life but you have improved your eternal life also. He said that due to lack of medical facilities in rural areas, poor villagers continue to suffer from such diseases for a long time. Service rendered to help such suffering humanity is true service. Sant Siddh Bhauji urged the doctors to help the patients with the same spirit of service in future also. He paid a visit in the ward and inquired about the well being of patients.

Col. Dr. Madan Deshpande, Consultant, SSEH, said that the doctors in the camp have successfully completed surgeries on many challenging patients and they deserve gratitude for this. Due to the service spirit of the doctors, the target of 100 urology camps in Sant Nagar will very soon be achieved.

He said that as per the teachings of Santji, all the doctors serve with compassion. He said that the record of your services will not only be kept in this hospital, rather, your services will be recorded in the accounts of God also. Managing Trustee L.C. Janiyani said that Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahib Ji started organizing urology camps in Sant Nagar 30 years ago. Since then, more than 51 thousand patients have been treated and operations of over 11 thousand patients have been done. Janiyani said that performing service increases the avenue of more and more services and it leads to spiritual upliftment of man. He wished the doctors a happy and prosperous life.

Dr. CP Devani, Dr. Sudhir Lokwani, Dr. Nikhil Tekwani, Dr. Kavita and Dr. Shyam Lalchandani, Dr. Deepak Jain and Dr. Ajay Raghuwanshi, Dr. Preeti Motiyani, Dr. G.T. Khemchandani, Dr. Poonam Khemchandani, Dr. Rajesh Valecha, Dr. Dilip Chotrani and Dr. Deepak Jhangiani rendered their services in the camp.
