AIIMS Bhopal has unveiled an innovative digital platform, "HBV Safe @ AIIMS Bhopal," aimed at safeguarding the people from the risks associated with Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. This significant initiative was launched by Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, Executive Director & CEO of AIIMS Bhopal, in observance of the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.

Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh spoke at the launch, stating: "The 'HBV Safe @ AIIMS Bhopal' initiative marks a vital step in our ongoing efforts to protect the health and well-being of our people. Hepatitis B presents serious health risks, and this platform ensures that we take proactive measures to prevent its long-term effects.

By integrating digital tools, we can efficiently track the immune status and ensure their safety. This initiative reinforces AIIMS Bhopal's commitment to setting new benchmarks in healthcare management."

The portal is designed to offer comprehensive protection against Hepatitis B, a virus known for causing severe complications such as chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. AIIMS Bhopal is committed to providing vaccination with regular monitoring of immune status through antibody testing, ensuring effective long-term protection against the virus.

The "HBV Safe @ AIIMS Bhopal" portal provides a streamlined, efficient solution for managing vaccination records and tracking antibody levels. It allows for the continuous monitoring of each individual's health status, generating a Certificate of Protection once satisfactory antibody levels are confirmed via laboratory tests.

This innovative initiative reflects AIIMS Bhopal's dedication to utilizing digital technology to enhance health outcomes and operational efficiency.

It is an exemplary model of how digital platforms can transform health management by ensuring timely interventions and continuous monitoring.
