BJP politicising death of Excise police aspirants: JMM

Friday, 06 September 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

The JMM today said that the BJP has been making baseless allegations on the State Government for the death of Jharkhand Excise Police aspirants. JMM spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya today said that statements are being made without any facts and correct information about the painful deaths that occurred during the race.

He said, they have made death a political issue. But, things are now slowly becoming clear. He said that I had said about a week ago that the reason for these deaths could be shortness of breath while running. I said this after taking information from some doctors.

Supriyo said that somewhere there is an effect of post corona in this. He said that JMM does not have to do politics of death. No one has to play with the sentiments of anyone. He said that without finding the reason for this untimely death, one should not comment on it. The real reasons of death are now being told by expert doctors. He said that I had said earlier that maybe some asteroids must have been taken, which the body could not adjust to.

The JMM spokesperson said that the Jharkhand government has expanded the scope of the Chief Minister Mainiya Samman Yojana. He said that now girls between 18 and 20 years of age have also been included in this scheme. That is, now they will also get one thousand rupees every month under the scheme. He said that a new chapter of women's life begins at this stage. After this they have to face the responsibility of career or household.

He said that girls are given benefits under the Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana during their studies. Now after studies, they have been given this social security cover. The JMM leader said, many people have also been troubled by this. They fear that women will become self-reliant. Their male-dominated mentality will be hurt by this scheme somewhere.

Bhattacharya said that there are politicians among us who want to keep women backward and weak along with tribals, indigenous people and backward people. He said that they want to spread religious frenzy in a large section of the society. They want to make them directionless. But this is Jharkhand. In 1855, when the first rebellion against the British took place, its heroes Sido-Kanho, Chand Bhairav along with their two sisters Phoolo and Jhano also entered the battlefield. He said that taking women forward is not only the thinking of the government, but also the thinking of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha.
