Leader of Opposition Amar Kumar Bauri and State BJP President Babulal Marandi have strongly attacked the State government over the deteriorating law and order situation in the State.

Bauri today said that the law and order situation in the state has completely collapsed. Instead of improving the law and order situation, the state government is busy sharpening the politics of appeasement. The government has put the entire law and order on hold. From common man to the elite, no one is safe in the state.

The LoP said that the killing of Inspector Anupam Kachhap is a clear example of the poor law and order in the State. On Friday, Advocate Gopi Krishna was stabbed to death in his locality. Today, another sad news came that the former councillor of Dhurva, who was shot by criminals earlier, died during treatment in Delhi. These three murders are not common and ordinary. As far as common citizens are concerned, they have no value in the JMM Congress government, this government considers the common man no more than an insect.

Bauri said that the three people who have been murdered are well-known in their respective fields. One is a uniformed police inspector of the government, the second is a lawyer protecting the law and the third is a public representative. The CM again made a series of false promises in the last session of the fifth assembly. But the silence of the government on law and order clearly shows that all the incidents are happening under the protection of the state government.

He said that so far 7000 rape incidents have taken place. Five murders are taking place every day in the state. Who are these victims? These people are the tribals, Dalits and natives of the state. Here the law and order is being completely violated. The police are getting the leaders, workers and students of tribal organisations beaten up because the intruders have to be given even stronger protection. They have to further sharpen the politics of appeasement, so the entire law and order of Jharkhand has been put on hold.

Meanwhile, BJP State President Babulal Marandi expressed concern over the increasing crime incidents in the state and held the state government responsible. He said that in the Hemant government, no one is safe except goons and criminals, even the police which provides security to the public is not safe.

He said that incidents like the killing of a lawyer and Sub Inspector happening every day in the state capital have created an atmosphere of fear in the entire state including the capital.

The way the courage of criminals has increased in the Hemant government, it seems that the government is being run not by Hemant Soren ji but by criminals and goons, he said.
