Book Launch of Newsprint to Heartprint

St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi, hosted the much-anticipated launch of the book at FrCD. Brouwer Auditorium. Newsprint to Heartprint: An Ingenious Odyssey of Harivansh in Prabhat Khabar . The event, held from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, drew the presence of notable academics, journalists, and media professionals from across the region. The program commenced with a brief introduction by the event's chair

Dr.Harishwar Dayal, Dr. Nabor Lakra, S.J., Principal of St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi. Following this, the book was officially launched by the authors, Dr. Abhijit K. Chattoraj, Dr. Srinath Sridharan, and Ms. Saloni Sinha, who provided insights into the book’s creation and the journey of Harivansh in Prabhat Khabar. They provided insights into the making of the books how it chronicals the inspiring journey of Harivansh ji within Prabhat khabar .

They emphasized the book’s focus on leadership, ethical journalism and influence of religious press in religious issues. A panel discussion followed, featuring esteemed participants such as Sri B. K. Sinha, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Political Science; Sri Ravi Bajpai from the Department of History; Sri Manoj Prasad, Senior Journalist; and Dr. Harishwar Dayal, Associate Professor in the Department of Economics, all from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi. The discussion was rich with insights, touching on various aspects of Harivansh ji's leadership and the challenges faced by Prabhat Khabar in its journey.

In a special segment, Harivansh ji shared his experiences and the journey with Prabhat Khabar, shedding light on his leadership style and the critical issues faced by Jharkhand. He also spoke about Asha ji's contributions and cherished memories from their shared journey.

 The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Fr. Pradeep Kujur, S.J., Vice Principal of St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi. He expressed gratitude to all the guests, panellists, and attendees for their participation.
