okaro: To mark Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary and the 10th anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission, DPS Bokaro organized a series of events on Tuesday under the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign. Students actively participated by cleaning classrooms, the school premises, and surrounding areas, promoting the idea of “Cleanliness is next to Godliness.” Both Primary and Senior Wing students took part, with younger students seen cleaning in gloves and aprons.
In addition to the cleanup, students formed a human chain with placards and paintings to spread the message of cleanliness. A special assembly featured a street play, inspiring everyone to pledge their commitment to cleanliness. The 'A Tree for Mother' initiative saw students plant saplings, vowing to care for them.
Principal Dr. A.S. Gangwar encouraged students to make cleanliness a way of life, highlighting that a clean body fosters a healthy mind and a stronger nation.
