CM gifts 748 schemes worth Rs 1197.62 Cr to Garhwa and Latehar

Chief Minister Hemant Soren today gifted 748 schemes worth about 1197 crore 62 lakh rupees to Garhwa and Latehar districts. This includes the foundation stone laying of 113 schemes worth 732 crore 50 lakh 37 thousand 800 rupees and inauguration of 22 schemes worth 260 crore 92 lakh 61 thousand rupees under Garhwa district. While in Latehar district, the foundation stone laying of 144 schemes worth 109 crore 22 lakh 16 thousand 368 rupees and inauguration of 469 schemes worth 94 crore 98 lakh 22 thousand 924 rupees were completed.

On this occasion, assets worth 38 crore 94 lakh 15 thousand 800 rupees were distributed among 25044 beneficiaries of Garhwa district and assets worth 167 crore 14 lakh 6 thousand 904 rupees were distributed among 197184 beneficiaries of Latehar district. In this program, the CM handed over appointment letters to 54 candidates for Latehar district.

Addressing people in the "Aapki Yojana- Aapki Sarkar- Aapke Dwar" programme organized in Duldulwa Panchayat located in Meral block under Garhwa district, the CM said, “The happiness on your faces today tells how much you like our public welfare schemes. Our aim is not only to solve your problems, but also to ensure your participation in development. In this episode, "Aapki Yojana- Aapki Sarkar- Aapke Dwar" is proving to be a strong and very effective program.” He emphasized that his government is not running from Ranchi headquarters but from villages and rural areas so that there is direct contact between the government and the public.

The CM said that under the "Aapki Yojana Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar" program, special camps are being organized in villages, panchayats and tolas-mohallas. Officers like BDO-CO, whom you have never seen, are coming to your doorstep and connecting you with the government schemes. I am also continuously participating in special camps being organized in various districts, so that I can communicate directly with you and know the reality of the government's schemes.

The CM said that women empowerment is our commitment. In this series, through Jharkhand Chief Minister Maiyaan Samman Yojana, we are working to give respect to half the population. Today, about 50 lakh mothers and sisters-daughters between 18 years to 50 years are being given an equal amount of one thousand rupees every month. The amount of the second installment has also been sent to their account. I want to assure you that this scheme will continue, so that we can move forward with more strength in the direction of empowering the sisters-daughters of this state.

The CM said that the government has come up with many schemes to increase the income of farmers. In this series, farmers are being encouraged to join schemes like Birsa Harit Gram Yojana, Didi-Baadi Yojana, Neelambar-Pitambar Jal Samridhi Yojana so that they come forward for alternative farming, so that their income can be increased.

The CM said that any state will progress only when there is no disintegration in the society. Everyone will live together and contribute to the development of the society and the state. I want to tell you that those who are trying to break the society by misleading you, not only be cautious and careful of them but also give a befitting reply.

The CM said that the tribals, natives, Dalits, backward, poor, old people, women, youth and children of the state are working to take the girls forward. Today, no old person is without pension. 50 lakh women are getting Samman Rashi. The government is taking the responsibility of educating girls. Continuous work is being done in the direction of connecting the youth with government jobs and self-employment. Locals are being reinstated in jobs. Under the Guruji Credit Card Scheme, students are being given education loan up to Rs 15 lakh for higher education.

Ministers Satyanand Bhokta, Mithilesh Kumar Thakur, MLA Ramchandra Singh, District Council President Shanti Devi, Commissioner of Palamu Division Bal Kishun Munda, Deputy Inspector General of Police YS Ramesh and Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police of Garhwa and Latehar districts along with other officials were present in this programme.
