CMPDI celebrated The birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji and former Prime Minister Late Lal Bahadur Shastri at CMPDI (HQ), Ranchi. Manoj Kumar, CMD, CMPDI; Shankar Nagachari, Director (Technical/CRD); Ajay Kumar, Director (Technical/ P&D); Achyut Ghatak, Director (Technical/RD&T); GM/HoDs and other employees from CMPDI (HQ) and RI-III were present and paid floral tributes and homage to the Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.
Speaking on this occasion, Kumar said that 2nd October is observed as International Day of Non-Violence. The whole world accepts Bapu's ideals of Truth and Non-violence. He further urged the employees to fulfill Gandhiji's vision of Swachha Bharat. He further said that today we also celebrate the birth Anniversary of second Prime Minister of India, Lal Bahadur Shastri ji who led the country in challenging times and also who gave the famous call Jai Jawan Jai Kisan.
Manoj Kumar, CMD, CMPDI administered Swachhata Pledge to the employees and began the Implementation Phase of 'Special Campaign 4.0' at CMPDI.
Further, prizes were distributed to the winners of slogan competitions organised during the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign. Moreover Gifts (Tiffins Box) were also distributed to the Domestic house help/maids as a token of gratitude culminating the fortnight long celebrations of Swachhata Hi Seva campaign.
