Damru recital to create a world record in Baba Mahakal sawari

Excitement, enthusiasm, and devotion will mark the Baba Mahakal Sawari on 5th August, the third Monday of Shravan-Bhado month, making it even more spectacular. During the sawari, 1500 Damru players will create a world record by playing Damru to the tune of Bhasma Aarti. A special presentation will be given by the group of Damru players from Bhopal and Ujjain in Shaktipath and Sawari of Mahakal Lok.         

A special presentation will be given by Damru players at 11 am on the Shaktipath of Mahakal Lok. Proper preparations for the Damru Vadan program have been ensured by the district administration and Mahakal Management Committee. The groups of Damru players have been given special training by the Mahakal Management Committee, the final rehearsal of which was conducted on Sunday. 

As intended by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the unique DamruVadan is going to create a record in the Guinness Book of World Records after the presentation of tribal artists, and the police band presentation with 350 jawans, to add to the excitement and attraction in the Baba Mahakal Sawari.

On the third Monday of Sawan, Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar will be seated in the palki in the form of Shri Chandramouleshwar, as Shri Manmahesh on the elephant and in the form of Shri Shiva-Tandav on the Garuda Rath and will tour the city to know the condition of his subjects. Shri Mrinal Meena, Administrator of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee and Additional Collector Shr Mrinal Meena said that before the procession of Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar, prayers will be offered to Lord Shri Chandramouleshwar at the assembly hall of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple. After this, Lord Shri Chandramoleshwar will sit in the palki and go on a city tour. At the main gate of the temple, the armed police force personnel will salute the Lord in the palki. A live telecast of the Sawari of Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar will also be done on the Facebook page of the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee.

A group of tribal artists will also participate in the sawari of Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar through Tribal Folk Art and Dialect Development Academy, Madhya Pradesh Sanskriti Parishad.

 

On Monday, August 5, Katthi dance troupe, the traditional folk dance of Nimad region of Madhya Pradesh, will perform in front of the palki in the third procession of Lord Mahakaleshwar, giving its performance along with bhajan troupes.
