On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, India’s first President and a recipient of the Bharat Ratna, former Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan paid heartfelt tributes by offering flowers at his statue. The ceremony was marked by a sense of reverence and admiration for the leader who played a pivotal role in shaping the nation’s history.
Speaking to the gathering, Narayan highlighted the immense contributions of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, both as a freedom fighter and as an architect of independent India. "Dr. Rajendra Prasad’s life is a testament to simplicity, dedication, and selfless service to the nation. He epitomized the values of honesty and integrity, which are much needed in today’s times," Narayan said.
The former MLA urged the youth to take inspiration from Dr. Prasad’s life and work toward building a strong and united India. He also emphasized the importance of remembering and celebrating the legacies of such great leaders to instill a sense of patriotism and responsibility among citizens.
