The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) organized a ‘Gender Sensitization Programme’ on Saturday, November 30, 2024. This program was aimed at raising awareness among newly appointed employees regarding sexual harassment at the workplace, the provisions of the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, and the importance of fostering an inclusive and respectful work environment.
Prof. Singh emphasized the importance of a gender-sensitive workplace, stating that a safe and inclusive environment is essential for the development of both individuals and institutions. Gender equality and respect are fundamental values for us, and this sensitization program is an important step towards ensuring a dignified and collaborative workplace for our employees.
