Kejriwal having home cooked food lacking nutritional value to get bail: Sachdeva

Tuesday, 16 July 2024 | Staff Reporter | New Delhi

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Monday accused the Chief Minister Arvind kejriwal of deliberately having food made from his home that lacks nutritional value to show medical weakness to get bail.

“Whenever a court date is around AAP leaders start their rhetoric statement that there is risk to Arvind Kejriwal's life and he is facing medical issues like high sugar and weight loss,” Sachdeva alleged, adding that these rhetoric will not work.

Further, the Delhi BJP president stated, “This rhetoric now holds no value in the eyes of the people of Delhi and by raising these frivolous issues AAP leaders make a joke of their party leader Arvind Kejriwal.”

He questioned the AAP leaders on saying such things despite the food for Kejriwal coming from his own home. “People want to ask Sanjay Singh, Atishi and other AAP leaders that Kejriwal eats three meals all cooked and coming from his home and his medicines are provided as per directive of the Supreme Court of India based on the advice of his own selected doctors. Kejriwal just lives behind the walls of Tihar Jail everything he consumes eats comes daily from his home,” he claimed while stating that despite the fact that Kejriwal is eating everything from his home and yet facing weight loss then it means Kejriwal's home cooked food lacks proper nutrition.

“Lack of nutritional value in Kejriwal's home cooked food means it's being done intentionally show medical weakness to get bail,” he said.
