Nimiaghat Police Station located in Giridih district of Jharkhand, one of the best police stations in the Country.
This award was given for meeting the standards like police's behavior with the general public, cleanliness of the police station, facilities for complainants, fitness facilities for police personnel, ramp facilities for the disabled, CCTV and fire safety arrangements etc.
This award is given every year by the Home Ministry, Government of India to the best police stations of the Country on the basis of the above standards. On this basis, Nimiaghat Police Station under Giridih district of Jharkhand state has got the distinction of being the best police station among the three police stations.
