The online tool management system of TGM department was inaugurated by General Manager - Feeders Rupesh Telang at BHEL, Bhopal on Friday. This system mainly comprises three different online systems, namely 1) Tool Request System 2) YFR Management System and 3) CTX Webpage and Inventory Management System. The development of all these web applications has been possible due to the collective efforts of TGM and DTG. These online systems have been developed to fulfil the tooling requirements of various product groups on priority basis, to get information about the current manufacturing status of TGM products and for overall value addition.
Telang emphasized that being a feeder, it is imperative to supply tooling to internal customers on priority basis and the online system plays a very important role in transparency. He drew attention to the important contribution of data management in business decisions and encouraged to identify most of the other systems of the feeder group and bring them online. He also praised this important achievement of contributing in the "Digital India" mission.
On this occasion, senior BHEL officials VV Khare, N P Sanodia, Sanilal Toppo, Rajesh Toppo, Yogesh Hinge, Ashish Agarwal, Varun Pratap Singh, Anil Kumar Pandey etc were present. The systems have been conceptualized and designed by SN Shrivastava, Satish Asnani, Manoj Chaudhary, Mahesh Kumar Sharma and Pardeep Singh Baloria of DTG Group.
Meanwhile, SM Ramanathan Executive Director BHEL, Bhopal on Saturday inaugurated the largest vertical Kaplan runner manufactured in India for Polavaram Hydro Electrical Plant. On this occasion VS Rao, General Manager (Hydro), Rajesh Kumar Agrawal General Manager (SOM), GP Baghel General Manager (Quality), Alok Sengar General Manager (Fabrication) and Manoj Nilamwar AGM & HOD (WTM) were present. The runner has been manufactured & assembled by Bhopal unit's Water Turbine Manufacturing Division using state-of-the-art technology.
