Additionally, those injured will be compensated with Rs 3 lakh each.

Four labourers were killed and three others injured in the incident that took place last Sunday.

Meanwhile, following instructions from the Chief Minister, the Surguja Collector constituted an investigation team to probe the incident.

On Thursday, the Collector inspected the plant and instructed company officials to promptly disburse the compensation.

The compensation will be handed over by the company to the families on September 12 in the presence of government officials.

The administration is checking the safety measures at the plant. It has been made clear that the plant will not resume operations without the prior approval of the authorities.
