Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has been awarded the prestigious Second Runner-Up Trophy for excellence in sports among Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) for the year 2023-24. The award, presented by the All India Public Sector Sports Control Board, recognizes SAIL's commitment to promoting and supporting sports.
The trophy, initially received earlier on behalf of SAIL, was officially presented to SAIL Chairman Amarendu Prakash on October 1, 2024. This achievement adds to the long list of accolades for SAIL, further strengthening its reputation as a socially responsible organization that actively promotes holistic employee development through sports and fitness initiatives.
