State Govt announces compensation of Rs 2 lakh for kin of victims

Health and Food Supply Minister Banna Gupta, Tribal Welfare Minister Deepak Birua and local MLA Dashrath reached the spot to take stock of the situation. During this, Minister Banna Gupta announced to give 2 lakh rupees each to the families of those who died in the accident and 50 thousand rupees each to the injured.

Howrah Mail going from Howrah to Mumbai has derailed in Chakradharpur, Jharkhand. The Jharkhand government is in action mode regarding the rail accident. The ministers reached the spot and took information from the officials about the rescue work. Along with this, he gave instructions to ensure help to the victims of the accident.

Gupta, while talking to the media there, said that he will ensure help to the victims of the accident. He announced to give two lakh rupees each to the families of the deceased and 50 thousand rupees each to the injured from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund and also directed to provide better health facilities.

MLA Dashrath Gagrai also expressed deep condolences on the death of two people in the train accident. He has wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.

It is worth noting that before the Jharkhand government, the Railway Department has announced compensation. The Railway Department has announced a relief amount of Rs 10 lakh for the families of the deceased. The department has announced to give Rs 1 lakh each to the injured. A total of 2 people have died in this rail accident so far.
