Those doing outstanding work in PM Swanidhi Yojana honoured

Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started the PM Swanidhi Yojana for the economic strength of the urban poor.

All the bodies of the state should boost their credibility by working with a spirit of welfare in the interest of the urban poor through this innovative scheme. He said that by performing well in this scheme, Madhya Pradesh has brought pride to the state across the country.

Urban Development Minister Vijayvargiya was addressing the PRAISE Award Ceremony under the PM-Swanidhi Yojana at Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre in Bhopal today. Minister of State for Public Health and Family Welfare Narendra Shivaji Patel was also present on this occasion.

Under the PM Swanidhi Yojana, the street vendors of the urban area are provided the facility of working capital loan in three installments. Digital transactions are also being encouraged in the PM Swanidhi Yojana.

Minister Vijayvargiya said that during the Corona period, the poor people living in the cities had faced a huge financial crisis.

In view of these difficulties, Prime Minister Modi started the PM Swanidhi Yojana. He appealed to the officials and bankers to make joint efforts and provide financial help to the urban poor. Minister Vijayvargiya also rewarded the bankers and bodies doing excellent work on this occasion. Bhopal Mayor Smt. Malti Rai, Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Neeraj Mandloi, Commissioner Urban Development Bharat Yadav and departmental officers were present in the program. On this occasion Minister Vijayvargiya awarded the urban bodies and bankers doing outstanding work in PM Swanidhi Yojana.
