Three persons including two women were killed on Sunday after a truck hit their motorcycle in Khairagarh-Chhukhadan-Gandai (KCG) district.
The incident took place at around 3 pm near Atariya village, KCG Superintendent of Police Trilok Bansal said.
The speeding truck hit the motorcycle and the victims – Daulat Ram Verma (22), his wife Tikeshwari (21) and mother Thagan Bai (46) -- from Katori village died on the spot.
The vehicle driver fled from the crime scene but was caught.
