Udbhav Dance Festival: Day 2 witnesses mixing of fusion and classical dances

On the second day of Udbhav Utsav, teams from India and abroad gave captivating performances in group dance, one after the other. The mixing of fusion in classical dance thrilled the audience while the colourful dance performances captivated the minds of the audience.

 The glory of Nari Shakti was glorified by mixing fusion in classical dance, while in the folk dance of Barsana, the flower Holi of Shri Krishna with gopis gave the feeling of the spring of colours. The explosive and spectacular presentation of Mayur Nritya had an exciting effect on the minds of those who were present.

On the second day of the four-day International Dance Festival of Udbhav Sports and Cultural Association, Greenwood Public School Udbhav Utsav, the Indian Tourism and Group dance was organized in the auditorium of the Institute of Travel Management (IITTM).

IITTM Director Dr. Alok Sharma, Judges Vani Madhav, Mansi Saxena and Ruchi Gupta; Udbhav President Dr. Keshav Pandey, Secretary Deepak Tomar and Greenwood School Director Kiran Bhadauria inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. During this, 24 explosive performances for five consecutive hours thrilled everyone. Kathak Vidya Niketan of Gwalior's presentation of Laaga Chunari Mein Daag...Tu Krodh Ki Mashal Hai... had a thrilling effect on the audience.

Vani Madhav, Gurgaon, Mansi Saxena, Jalandhar and Ruchi Gupta, Delhi played the role of judges in the group dance. They selected the teams with the best performance for the next round.

In group dance, dances were performed in School Classical, Open Classical, School Semi Classical, Open Semi Classical, School Folk and Open Folk categories. Along with all the teams of the country, artists from Sri Lanka in the foreign team also gave a presentation showcasing the folk culture of their country.

In the School Classical category, Vidya Devi Jindal from Hisar, Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Indore, Queens College, Indore, DPS Gurgaon Sector 45, and The Lawrence School, Ooty, Tamil Nadu gave electrifying performances.

In the Open Classical category, Kathak Vidya Niketan, Gwalior, National School of Kathak, Indore, Gandharva Academy, Indore and Shikha Dance Academy gave scintillating performances.

In the School Semi Classical category, DPS International, Gurgaon, Seth MR Jaipuria, Lucknow, Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar and  DPS Gurgaon Sector-45 Gurgaon enthralled the audience.

In the Open-Semi Classical category, Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, Gwalior, Kathak Vidya Niketan, Gwalior, National School of Kathak, Indore and  Gandharva Academy of Indore were brilliant in their performances.

In the School Folk category, Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Indore, Queens College, Indore, RKVM, Gwalior, Greywood Public School, Gwalior, Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar and Lawrence School, Ooty gave mind-boggling performances.
