On the occasion of World Patient Safety Day a health awareness camp was held at Ninti Cardiac Care Muzaffarpur and Saharsa where the doctors attending the conference urged the people to take prompt and safe action towards diseases.
Dr. Gopal Sharan, MD of Ninti Cardiac Care said that World Patient Safety Day is celebrated every year on 17 September. Its purpose is to increase global awareness about patient safety and ensure action to reduce patient damage. The theme of World Patient Safety Day in the year 2024 is "Improving diagnosis for patient safety".
This year's slogan of the World Health Organization (WHO) is - "Make it right, make it safe!" The purpose of this theme is to ensure correct and timely diagnosis to provide safe and high-quality care to patients.
At Ninti Cardiac Care Saharsa the hospital appealed to the people to take prompt and safe action towards diseases. Dr. Girija Shankar Jha, Senior Interventional Cardiologist, Ninti Cardiac Care, Saharsa, said that a lot of vigilance is necessary during treatment. Many times patients get into trouble due to medical negligence and wrong medicines. Therefore, it is our duty to take care of the safety of the patients and it is also our duty to warn them about this. Many precautions are taken for patient safety so that there is no problem in treatment. We also share this with our patients.
