The Border Security Force Wives Welfare Association (BWWA) celebrated BWWA Day 2025 at BSF facility, Nizamuddin on Thursday. The event was graced by Mrs. Neema Rastogi, Vice President, BWWA, as the Chief Guest. The occasion witnessed the participation of approx. 125 Veeranganas of deceased BSF personnel-alongside their family members and BWWA members.
Their presence infused the event with deep emotional resonance and collective pride.In recognition of their courage and resilience, all Veeranganas and two disabled BSF wards were felicitated. A key highlight of the programme was the release of the 23rd edition of the BWWA Magazine, “Prahari Sangini”, a publication that continues to reflect the spirit, strength and solidarity of BSF families.
During the event, Chief Guest personally interacted with the Veeranganas, and listened to their grievances, and assured them of speedy redressal. A community dinner was arranged for all the members, symbolizing the unity and warmth of the BWWA community. In her address, Mrs. Neema Rastogi lauded the dedication, achievements and compassionate outreach of BWWA over the past years.
She reaffirmed the Association’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of BSF families, dependents, and specially-abled children. The event concluded with a note of unity, welfare and compassion, reinforcing the core values of BWWA.
