Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant continued his impactful grassroots outreach through the ‘Booth Chalo Abhiyan’, visiting the Government Primary School, Khajan, Surla in the Sankhali constituency booth.
This was the second booth visited by the Chief Minister under the campaign and it witnessed an overwhelming response from the locals.
More than 600 people gathered, reflecting strong support for the initiative. The CM expressed his heartfelt gratitude and happiness for such an encouraging turnout. CM Sawant personally interacted with the villagers, listened to their grievances and informed them on various schemes and opportunities related to skill development, employment, education, traditional occupations and small-scale businesses.
He assured the gathering that their problems would be taken seriously and resolved with priority.
On this occasion, Chief Minister said, “This Booth Chalo Abhiyan is inspired by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of direct engagement with the people. Our goal is to strengthen the grassroots, especially the rural areas, by listening and acting. We are also committed to bringing the youth along in this journey.â€
He added that as ‘Sankalp Se Siddhi’ marks its 11th anniversary this year, the Booth Chalo Abhiyan has been launched to reaffirm that commitment.
CM Sawant also stated that he intends to visit 100 per cent of the booths in his constituency over the next few days, with a total of 50 booths on the schedule.
The Booth Chalo Abhiyan is emerging as a powerful platform to bridge the gap between governance and the grassroots, ensuring that every voice is heard, respected and acted upon.
