UP Board Result 2025: 1.34 Lakh Teachers Begin Evaluation of 2.96 Crore Answer Sheets Today

UPMSP has scheduled today March 19 2025 for starting the answer sheet evaluation process of UP Board High School and Intermediate examinations for 2025. The evaluation process started today and will extend to April 2 which requires 1,34,723 teachers to evaluate 2,96,93,855 answer sheets throughout 261 evaluation centers in Uttar Pradesh.

The answer sheet evaluation works under the direction of UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh as well as District School Inspectors who serve as Chief Controllers. The board issued a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as a transparency and efficiency measure for all evaluation centers. High School and Intermediate answer sheets are subject to maximum daily evaluation limits set at 50 and 45 respectively according to the SOP. Each evaluation examiner is now limited to checking up to 700 responses in High School and 800 copies in Intermediate besides the arts subject cap of 80.

The evaluation of 1,63,22,248 High School answer sheets will be completed by 84,122 examiners together with 8,473 Deputy Chief Examiners. Where Evaluation officers numbering 50,601 and Deputy Chief Examiners totaling 5,471 will analyze 1,33,71,607 responses for Intermediate. The evaluation centers located in Prayagraj include Government Inter College and Kulbhaskar Ashram Inter College together with Kesar Vidya Peeth Inter College as well as seven other facilities.

Prior to the evaluation process the board had to deal with substantial examiner absenteeism levels as a key operational issue. The first stage of examiner attendance during pre-evaluation showed that 40% of examined staff members failed to appear for duty while overall average presence was at 60%.

The absent examiners received orders from the board to report to their assigned centers on March 17 before they started training on March 18. The board has reinforced a firm commitment to following both evaluation timelines and established guidelines in order to protect evaluation integrity.

The UP Board plans to conduct evaluations for 3 crore answer sheets during the designated 15-day period as part of their current assessment process. The deadline for the High School and Intermediate examination result announcement stands at the end of April.
