The Enforecement Directorate (ED) on Monday filed prosecution complaint against 14 persons including a senior AAP leader in connection a corruption case. Former Delhi cabinet minister Satyendar Jain, who was the chairman of the Delhi Jal Board, has been implicated in a case involving awarding tenders related to Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs).
ED initiated a probe based on a case registered by the Anti-Corruption Branch of the Delhi Government against Euroteck Environmental Pvt Ltd. and others under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Corruption Act, alleging a scam in DJB in the name of augmentation and upgradation of existing 10 STPs.
