Union Home Minister Amit Shah is slated to attend the Maha Kumbh Mela on January 27. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar is also scheduled to visit the Mela on February 1.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath previously confirmed the participation of top dignitaries, including President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. “Their presence underscores the cultural and spiritual significance of the Maha Kumbh Mela, which is a proud symbol of India’s heritage,†said the Chief Minister.
The administration is making elaborate preparations to ensure smooth logistics and security during the visits of these high-profile leaders. Special arrangements are being made to manage the expected surge in devotees and media attention during these dates.
