‘Band Display’ and ‘At Home’ programme at Raj Bhawan

On the occasion of Republic Day Celebration-2025, 'Band Display' and 'At Home' program was organized at Raj Bhavan Monday in the august presence of Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar. On this occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Ministers of State Government, former Chief Minister of the State and Member of Legislative Assembly Babulal Marandi, former Chief Minister of the State and former Union Minister Arjun Munda, MPs, MLAs, Chief Secretary, Development Commissioner, Director General of Police, Padma Awardees, senior administrative and police officers and other dignitaries were present.

In the ceremony, a captivating band display was presented by the teams of 11th Battalion Rajputana Rifles, 1st Battalion Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry, JAP-1, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Ranchi and Vivekanand Vidya Mandir, Ranchi. The Governor presented prizes to the winners of tableau, parade and band competitions in the Republic Day celebration held at Morhabadi. On the said occasion, the Governor and Chief Minister also distributed prizes among the winners of tableau, parade and band displayed on the occasion of Republic Day celebrations 2025 organized at Morhabadi.

The Department of Information and Public Relations got first place in tableau, Women and Child Development and Social Security got second place, School Education and Literacy Department got third place, Army got first place in parade, JAP-1 got second place, DAP (Women) got third place, JAP-1 got first place in band, JAP-(Women Battalion) 10 got second place and Army got special prize.
