2 arrested in Rahul Singh murder case

In the case of shooting and killing of catering worker Rahul Singh alias Lefty on the night of January 30, the police had registered a case in Mihijam police station on the application of his father Rajesh Kumar Singh. Police recovered the deceased's scooty and arrested Ranvijay Singh and Rajesh Kumar Sao on the basis of investigation.

The accused confessed to the conspiracy to murder for the lure of ₹3 lakh. Three weapons were used in the incident, out of which one country-made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered. Ranvijay Singh has also gone to jail in the Balram Singh murder case in the past.

SP Jamtara Dr. Ehtesham Bakarib said that the main reason was the conversation and money transaction between the deceased's wife Shreya Singh and an accused. Many accused are still absconding, raids are going on for their arrest.

Meanwhile, the naxalites killed a person after kidnapping him. Naxalites killed Vishnu Sao, a resident of Lembuwa village, after kidnapping him. Regarding the incident, it is being told that Vishnu was going to the forest with cattle on Sunday morning. During this time, Vishnu was kidnapped by four-five armed Naxalites.

Shortly after the kidnapping, the Naxalites killed him. Vishnu's body was recovered from the forest located on the Tandwa-Balumath border of Tandwa police station area.

After receiving information about the incident, senior police officers have reached the spot. The area has been cordoned off and a search operation is being conducted.

There is an atmosphere of panic among the people due to the arrival of Naxalites in this area. It is suspected that the incident was carried out on the charge of police informer.
