Ruling party in the State Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) on Saturday congratulated Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for its victory in Delhi Assembly polls and said that INDIA main parties in Delhi- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress should have fought together then the results could have been different.

Addressing a press meet, JMM General Secretary cum Spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said that JMM gave a sizable numbers to allies in Jharkhand Assembly polls and during campaign the party helped a lot in victory of allies candidates so that INDIA block ensured victory in the State. It should have been applied in Delhi also the results could have been different there, he added.

On the occasion Bhattacharya congratulated the BJP on its victory. He said, the formal process of forming the Government in Delhi will now begin and I congratulate all the workers of the BJP. He said, the Government of India has also contributed a lot in forming this alliance. In the last 5 years, we have seen that Supreme Court gave a clear order on the rights of the then AAP Government that the Government elected by the people is the main Government, he added.

JMM General Secretary alleged that the Central Government has misused its powers and given all the power to the LG by bypassing the majority in the Parliament of India. He further said that work must be done on the pollution in Delhi and the bad condition of Yamuna and there is always a foul smell in the 10 km area around the entire Yamuna. "We hope that Yamuna gets cleaned. He said that we thank the Prime Minister that he has learnt something from the Jharkhand elections and most importantly, he has promised to give Rs 2500 to the women in Delhi," he added. 

Pointing towards the Mainya Samman Yojana, the JMM leader said that he has understood that if he has to come to power, then women empowerment will be the only issue.

Bhattacharya said that at this time it was decided who would win the elections in Delhi. "Whatever decisions were taken by the AAP government, they were rejected. The good thing is that now LG will become ineffective. When the Modi Government was formed in 2014, how much Ganga Maayya was cleaned and how much money was spent on that, is a matter of concern. Delhi could not get the status of a full state. There were 3 Chief Ministers from BJP, yet Delhi could not get the status of a full state. This is the reason why BJP remained out of power for 27 years," he added.
