Ashok Dhyanchand inaugurates Pratyaksh Medical Care’s Physiotherapy Centre

Hockey legend and Olympian Ashok Dhyanchand on Sunday expressed concern at the growing health risks of excessive mobile usage and urged people to prioritise exercise and physical activity. Speaking at the inauguration of Pratyaksh Medical Care’s Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre in Greater Kailash part 1, he encouraged dedicating just an hour daily to physical well-being to combat modern lifestyle-related ailments.

Dr Anil Tomar, former president of Ghaziabad IMA, highlighted the importance of holistic health - mental, physical, social, and spiritual.

Tomar pointed out that Dr Khyati has served in AIIMS for 18 years and connects emotionally with the patients, which is her specialty and also makes the patients feel a sense of belonging.

On the occasion, Dr Khyati said that with advanced level physiotherapy, now diseases like stress, depression, lack of sleep which are becoming major health issues in view of sedentary lifestyle will be treated without medicine through non-invasive cost-effective physiotherapy. Apart from this, along with working on mental health, services will be developed at the centre for AI based diagnosis and treatment, she shared. On this occasion, a large number of people including senior gynecologist Dr Vandana Goyal, senior physician Major Dr Harsha Vij and educationist Dr GP Saxena were present.
