The three-day Dr NN Jain National Moot Court Competition concluded on Friday at the Department of Law, Prestige Institute of Management and Research (PIMR), in a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere. Supreme Court Judge Justice G.K. Maheshwari, addressing the closing ceremony, motivated students, stating, “Reading, writing, discussion, thinking, and persistent effort should be the core mantra of a law student. Dream big and dedicate every breath to achieving those dreams.” Sharing his journey from humble beginnings to becoming a Supreme Court judge, he instilled enthusiasm among the students.
Justice Maheshwari outlined the qualities of a good lawyer, saying, “Do not be arrogant in honor, nor angry in insult, and avoid harsh words. Before becoming a good judge, lawyer, or teacher, focus on being a good human being.” Former High Court Judge Justice Shantanu Kemkar congratulated the winners and emphasized the importance of relentless effort.
