A day after the announcement of the date for bypolls for the 12 vacant seats of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), the Delhi BJP has started active preparations. As per the instructions of the Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, all concerned district presidents held meetings in the evening with the office bearers of the respective mandals and senior workers connected with the wards. In these meetings, the minister incharge of the wards and the election coordinators discussed the upcoming elections with the party office bearers and senior workers of the ward.
The Delhi BJP President on Wednesday appointed election coordinators for all 12 wards and also nominated one minister from the Delhi government as the in-charge for each ward. For Mundka Ward, Manoj Shaukeen will be the Election Coordinator and Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa will be the In-charge. For Shalimar Bagh (B), Rajan Tiwari will be the Election Coordinator and Minister Kapil Mishra will be the In-charge. For Ashok Vihar Ward, Vishnu Mittal will be the Election Coordinator and Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa will be the In-charge.
For Chandni Chowk Ward, Pankaj Kumar Jain will be the Coordinator and Minister Ravindra Indraj will be the In-charge. For Chandni Mahal Ward, Atif Rashid will be the Coordinator and Minister Ravindra Indraj will be the In-charge. For Dwarka (B) Ward, MLA Pradyuman Rajput will be the Coordinator and Minister Dr. Pankaj Singh will be the In-charge.
For Dichau Kalan Ward, MLA Abhay Verma will be the Coordinator and Minister Dr. Pankaj Singh will be the In-charge.
Similarly, for Narayana Ward, MLA Surya Prakash Khatri will be the Coordinator and Minister Mr. Ashish Sood will be the In-charge. For Sangam Vihar (A) Ward, NDMC Member Dinesh Pratap Singh will be the Coordinator and Minister Pravesh Sahib Singh will be the In-charge. For Dakshinpuri Ward, Jay Prakash will be the Coordinator and Minister Pravesh Sahib Singh will be the In-charge. For Greater Kailash Ward, MLA Rajkumar Bhatia will be the Coordinator and Minister Ashish Sood will be the In-charge. For Vinod Nagar Ward, Naseeb Singh will be the Coordinator and Minister Kapil Mishra will be the In-charge.
