With the active support of Bokaro General Hospital (BGH), the Sant Nirankari Mission, Bokaro, organized a blood donation camp at Bauddha Bihar, Sector 4, on the occasion of Manav Ekta Diwas. The initiative resulted in 24 units of blood being donated by mission volunteers.
Dr. Surendra Kumar (ACMO), in-charge of BGH Blood Bank, emphasized that the camp aimed to aid patients suffering from thalassemia and sickle cell anemia and to raise awareness about the life-saving impact of blood donation. βOne unit of blood can save three lives,β he said.
BGH's team, including counselor Kavita Kumar, nursing staff, and lab technicians, played a key role in making the camp a success.
