Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated that a structured, science-based approach, encouragement of curiosity, and the adoption of advanced technologies have paved the way for India to be counted among the world's leading nations. He emphasized that this achievement has been made possible under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The state government is continuously striving to enhance the lives of ordinary citizens by maximizing the use of science in governance, education, and public administration.

Yadav addressed students and youth at an event organized at Vigyan Bhawan in Bhopal on National Science Day, based on the theme "Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for a Developed India." He inaugurated the program by lighting a lamp and offering floral tributes to Goddess Saraswati. Prior to this, he also paid tribute to the great Nobel Prize-winning scientist, C.V. Raman, by garlanding his statue.

On the occasion of National Science Day, Dr. Yadav inaugurated the "Center of Excellence in STEM Education" at Vigyan Bhawan. During his visit, he observed various models and scientific equipment that help students easily understand different scientific principles. He also toured an exhibition showcasing scientific models and innovations created by students, engaging with them in discussions about their projects.

As part of the event, Dr. Yadav planted a tree under the "One Tree in the Name of Mother" initiative. He also interacted with progressive farmer Puranlal Kushwaha from Tikamgarh, who demonstrated his innovative wind and water-powered irrigation pump.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Ashok Kadel, Director of the Madhya Pradesh Hindi Granth Academy; Shriram Tiwari, Director of Vikramaditya Research Institute and Cultural Advisor to the Chief Minister; and Anil Kothari, Director General of the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology.

Yadav launched several science-based initiatives, including Capacity Development Program for Crop Insurance, 13th Madhya Pradesh Artisans' Science Conference, Science Exploration Journey, Entrepreneurship Development Program, National Science Conference under Vikramotsav-2025, Science Festival, and Patent & Technology-Based Training-Center Establishment Posters

During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science & Technology and VIT Bhopal to foster academic and scientific collaboration. The Chief Minister also unveiled "Rachna," a magazine by the Madhya Pradesh Hindi Granth Academy.

Yadav highlighted that India is experiencing a golden era under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, making significant strides in science at a global level. He cited India's remarkable achievements in vaccination and digital payments during the COVID-19 pandemic, noting that while countries like the United States and the United Kingdom faced disruptions, India efficiently and successfully managed its vast population with commitment and expertise.

He emphasized that India has a long tradition of curiosity-driven scientific advancements. Long before the invention of the telescope in the West, India practiced Navagraha (nine-planet) worship and made pioneering contributions to astronomy. Lord Krishna's teachings in "Yat Pinde Tat Brahmande" reflect the interconnectedness of the universe and the human body, while "Charaiveti-Charaiveti" signifies the continuous flow of time. He also pointed out that the law of gravity was already present in ancient Indian scriptures.
