On his visit to Dumka, Chief Minister Hemant Soren today gave another gift to the people of the state in the direction of promoting tourism in Jharkhand and providing better facilities to the tourists. He inaugurated the newly built eco-friendly resort in the Masanjore Dam complex located on the Mayurakshi river under Dumka district by performing proper puja. He said that there are immense possibilities in the field of tourism in Jharkhand. In such a situation, our government is constantly moving forward regarding the development of tourist places. In this direction, along with the beautification of all important tourist places, tourism related facilities are being expanded so that more and more tourists can be attracted to Jharkhand.
In order to take special care of the environment along with tourism in the state, continuous steps are being taken to promote eco-tourism. In this episode, an eco-friendly resort has been built here. At the same time, MP Shri Nalin Soren, MLA Shri Basant Soren, MLA Smt. Louise Marandi, Dumka District Council President Smt. Joyce Besra and former minister Shri Badal were present at the inauguration ceremony of the eco-friendly resort.
It is known that the eco-friendly resort built in the Masanjore Dam complex has 25 cottages, including 10 premium and 15 deluxe. It is made of SPF wood, which is durable and gives the cottages a very attractive look. There is a gym and parking facility along with a cafeteria here. Tourists will also be able to enjoy speed boating here. The construction of the eco resort will give Masanjore Dam a special identity and promotion as a tourist destination. At the same time, tourists will also get a lot of convenience and comfort.
Earlier, CM Hemant Soren reached Dumka today. On his arrival in Dumka, Hemant Soren was welcomed by Basant Soren at Sido-Kanhu Airport. Along with this, he was given a guard of honor by the district administration. According to the news received, tomorrow on 26 January, CM Hemant Soren will hoist the tricolor in Dumka, like every year.
