Launching a mini recycler machine in her Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency on Saturday, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that the sewer lines in the national Capital will now be cleaned using advanced, state-of-the-art technology.
The Chief Minister said that the Government has procured 16 small recycling machines for deployment across various parts of Delhi. The recyclers are designed to easily access narrow lanes and streets, efficiently remove sludge from sewer lines, and perform thorough cleaning. They are equipped with the latest technology for sewer cleaning, sludge removal, jetting, and suction.
Inaugurating the new technology-driven machine at Vaishali in the Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency, the Chief Minister said the Government has procured 16 small recycler machines for deployment across various parts of the Capital.
While presenting the machine in Vaishali, the Chief Minister also announced the commencement of modern sewer line construction and road work in the area, at a cost of `2 crore. Once completed, these projects will provide lasting relief to residents from issues such as waterlogging, sewer blockages, and damaged roads.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister explained that these advanced portable machines are equipped with modern technologies such as sewer cleaning, sludge removal, jetting and suction. Their use will make sewer cleaning operations more effective, hygienic, and environmentally friendly.
Sixteen of these machines have already been ordered, and more will be procured as required.
These machines will be particularly beneficial in addressing sewer blockage issues that tend to increase during the winter season.
The event was attended by local councillors, public representatives, senior officials of the Delhi Government, and a large number of residents.
The Chief Minister noted that the people of Vaishali had long been facing problems related to roads, drains, and sewer systems, and that permanent solutions are now being implemented.
