CMPDI, RI-IV, Nagpur signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with ALIMCO on 13.02.2025 for Distribution of Aids & Assistive devices to the Divyangjan (PWDs) and senior citizens in Chandrapur district, Maharashtra under CSR. This multi year CSR project with a budget of Rs.89 Lakhs, aims to benefit approximately 500-700 individuals.
The MoA was signed by Rajesh Ralhan, Regional Director, CMPDI, RI-IV Nagpur and Sri K.D. Gote, Unit Head from ALIMCO.
During this Project, Aids and Assistive devices like Tricycles, Wheel chairs, Battery Operated Motorised Tricycles, Crutches, Walking sticks, Rolator, CP Chair, BTE Hearing Aid, Braille Cane, Braille Slate, Braille Kit, Sugmaya Cane for divyanjans and Walker, Sticks, Knee Brace, L.S. Belt, Artificial Denture, Spinal Support, Cervical Collar etc. will be distributed to the beneficiaries selected in consultation with District Administration by conducting Assessment camps in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra as per eligibility and extant guidelines of Government of India.

This CSR initiative focuses on reducing inequalities faced by socially and economically disadvantaged groups, integrating them into mainstream society thus creating an inclusive and equitable society where no one is left behind.
