To ensure peaceful and safe celebrations during Holi and Ramadan, Bokaro deputy commissioner Vijaya Jadhav and superintendent of police Manoj Swargiary chaired a district-level peace committee meeting at the collectorate auditorium. Senior officials from various departments attended the meeting to discuss security arrangements and preventive measures.
DC Vijaya Jadhav directed all magistrates and police officers to remain on high alert, particularly in sensitive and highly sensitive areas. She emphasized that playing vulgar or provocative songs on DJs is strictly prohibited, and no one should be forced to participate in Holi celebrations. Officials were instructed to immediately report any disturbances to senior authorities. District and sub-divisional control rooms will remain active throughout the festivities.
Strict monitoring of social media will be conducted, and group admins spreading rumors will face legal action. DC Jadhav also instructed officials to prevent the illegal sale of liquor and ensure strict law enforcement.
To maintain order, adequate magistrates and police personnel have been deployed across key locations. DC Jadhav also stressed the need for fire department officials to stay alert and prevent fire incidents on Holika Dahan night.
