Directors of Shrishti Trade Com accused of Rs 110 cr Bank fraud

Tuesday, 21 January 2025 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

The Kolar police have registered an FIR against three directors of Pune-based Shrishti Trade Com Limited for allegedly forging documents and committing fraud by selling mortgaged property. The accused, identified as Rajesh Jain, Rajiv Srivastava, and Anand Pandey, are accused of selling land encumbered with loans amounting to ?110 crore from various banks.

The fraudulent sale included a one-acre plot owned by Ram Kumar Singh, director of RSR Housing and Construction Company, without his consent. The disputed land is part of a four-acre property located in Bawadia Kalan Shahpura.

In 2011, the accused sold Ram Kumar Singh’s one-acre plot for ?3.84 crore using post-dated cheques (PDCs). However, none of the cheques cleared, prompting Singh to object and apply for the cancellation of the land registry at the Registrar's Office.

In 2024, the directors of Shrishti Trade Com Limited fraudulently sold their 3.25 acres of land, along with Singh’s disputed one-acre plot, to Shiv Construction Company. They registered the total 5.25 acres of land at the Registrar's Office using forged documents.

Fake NOCs and Bank Loans

When the accused approached the Kolar Tehsil office to transfer the ownership, Ram Kumar Singh raised objections again. He informed officials that one acre of the land belonged to him and was sold without his authorization. He also revealed that the accused had taken loans of ?110 crore on the mortgaged property from three banks.

After the Tehsildar refused the land transfer, the accused prepared fake No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from the banks and submitted them to the Tehsil office.

Sub-Inspector Manoj Yadav confirmed that an FIR was registered on Monday following an investigation into Singh's complaint. Currently, none of the accused have been arrested, and further investigations are ongoing.
