Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur, has entered into a significant partnership with National Law University (NLU), Jodhpur, to strengthen academic collaboration. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed on January 18, 2025, aims to promote the exchange of students and faculty, collaborative academic activities, joint research programs, and co-publications.
The MoU was formalized during the Vice Chancellors’ Conclave in the presence of esteemed leaders from various National Law Universities across India. The agreement was signed by DNLU Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha and NLUJ Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur, with NLUJ Registrar Sunita Pankaj also attending the event.
DNLU, established in 2018 under the Madhya Pradesh Dharmashastra National Law University Act, is committed to advancing legal education and upholding the principles of the Indian Constitution. Guided by its Visitor, Hon’ble Justice J.K. Maheshwari, Judge of the Supreme Court of India, and Chancellor, Hon’ble Chief Justice Suresh Kumar Kait of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, DNLU offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in law.
NLUJ, Jodhpur, consistently ranked among India’s top law schools, is renowned for its academic excellence and professional training. Under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur, an accomplished academic specializing in Company Law, Securities Regulations, and Competition Law, the institution continues to provide world-class legal education.
During the ceremony, Prof. Kaur highlighted NLUJ’s commitment to fostering professional growth through high-quality legal education. She expressed optimism about the opportunities this partnership would bring for both institutions. Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha emphasized the mutual benefits of this collaboration, which aligns with DNLU’s mission of academic excellence and innovation in legal education.
