A four-day film festival focusing on the lives and times of eminent personalities and literary works gets underway at the multi-disciplinary arts centre Bharat Bhawan on Wednesday.
The festival, organised by the Chhavi Division, will open with Hemen Gupta's Anand Math on Wednesday, while Swami Vivekananda by G.V. Iyer will be screened on Thursday.
The showcase on Friday will be Kavi Kalidas by D.N. Tripathi, and the festival will close on Saturday with Adi Shankaracharya, also by G.V. Iyer.
The festival screenings will commence at 6:30 PM on each of the days. Entry to the event is free of charge.
Incidentally, Adi Shankaracharya was the recipient of four National Awards in 1983.
