A gambling den was being operated just fifty meters from the Talaiya police station in Bhopal, and police raided a house on Friday night based on information from an informer. Four youths were arrested for gambling at the house of Idris Khan. However, local residents claim that more than a dozen people were present in the den at the time of the raid. A viral video on social media allegedly shows a crowded scene at Idris's house before the police arrived, though its authenticity and timing are not confirmed.
According to TI CB Rathore, the police raided three gambling dens on Friday-Saturday night, arresting a total of 11 accused. They recovered approximately Rs 4,500 in cash from the arrested individuals. The accused arrested from the Budhwara area included Rizwan Khan, Wasim, Aijaz Khan, Anees, and Pannalal. In addition, Rajkumar, Sonu Verma, Laiq, and Hameed were arrested from a house in Chatori Gali, while Ayaz Ali, Sharif Khan, Usman, Javed, and Qadir Khan were arrested at Saidiya School Ground.
