Governor Santosh Gangwar, is scheduled to attend the second convocation ceremony of Jamshedpur Women's University as the Chief Guest. The convocation will be held on 4 February at the university campus in Sidhgora, where final preparations are underway. In view of the Governor's visit, the district administration is making elaborate security arrangements.
As part of the preparations, District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal and Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal inspected the venue at Sidgora. Present at the site were PD ITDA Deepankar Chaudhary, City SP Kumar Shivashish, DTO Dhananjay, DSP Bhola Prasad, and other officials.
During the inspection, senior district officials closely reviewed the ongoing preparations at the university and assessed necessary measures for security and law enforcement. Instructions were given to the officials present to ensure smooth execution of the event. Special focus was placed on parking arrangements and maintaining seamless traffic movement during the VIP visit.
The District Magistrate emphasized that all concerned officials have been instructed to ensure foolproof security. A thorough review of all security aspects is being conducted, and an adequate number of magistrates, police officers, and security personnel will be deployed.
